We’re now back home after a wonderful first visit to Vietnam. Thank you for making our tour so memorable. From the first pick-up at Saigon airport to the last transfer from Hanoi station to airport, everything went as expected with excellent guides and just as importantly very good drivers. The highlights were Halong Bay and Sapa so I’m glad we chose to do the trip from south to north, as the best was left to last.
If I had to pick a negative from the trip it would be the Fansipan Rest-Stop (the place to wait for Fansipan train to Lao Cai) in Hanoi after returning from Halong Bay. The room we were given was very basic – more like backpacker accommodation – and the doors would not close securely until a padlock was found. Fortunately the weather was good so we used up a few hours by walking to Hoan Kiem lake and having a meal before returning. For someone not very mobile, or if the weather was bad, the Rest-Stop would not be a pleasant place to wait several hours for the train to Lao Cai. Of course that is not a reflection on Vietnam Impressive.
Overall we will have no reservations in recommending your company to our friends if they decide to tour Vietnam in the future.
