Trust you are doing well!.. I am extremely sorry for not writing back. like most people, we were swamped with work after a long Holiday.
We wanted to extend a Big Thanks from all of us for a well organised trip. It was almost seamless and we went around without any problems.
I have some specific points on some aspects of the trip-
1) Hanoi-
I think the sight seeing could be a little more structured,.. Kim should have completed the sights seeing in 2 – 3 hrs, & directed us to roaming around the streets.. on our own, exploring & enjoying the flavor of the city. Our experience was that
the sightseeing was slightly loosely weaved, for example till about 2pm, we were just driving around the lake.. and spend the second half of the day visiting the various sites, by the time we started exploring the streets after the cyclo tour it was almost 7 pm..
2) Halong Bay – Superb, this truly was the high point of our trip
3) Danag – Again, great, Hue was terrific, very professional, courteous, friendly & informative.. Infact, could u please send me his email Id, we would like to thank him
4) Saigon – Also well organised & Lee was also very helpful.
Car arrangements were great all along
Hotel –
Best in Hoian
Junk – excellent
Hanoi& Saigon – could explore different alternatives
Lastly – Some tips on shopping places, would have helped, especially in Hanoi as Kim was not very aware.
Thanks again for all your help, will surely direct our friends to you incase they are planning a trip to Vietnam. We will also contact you for our next trip to Laos & Cambodia.
