Recently we, my wife and myself, travelled from Hanoi to Da Nang and a few days later from Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh City by SE3 train.
Travelling in Vietnam for the first time we didn’t know what to expect but were impressed with your service not only booking the berth in the compartment for us but also delivering the tickets to the hotel as arranged beforehand.
Boarding the train in Hanoi we encountered no problem at any time during the journey with people trying to share our compartment except passengers with a legitimate ticket. Others than that we met a number of very friendly fellow local travelers.
However, I’d like to bring it to your attention that when boarding the train for the Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh City leg we found all 4 berth in the compartment with used linen. No fresh linen was provided either. We can appreciate that there may not be enough time for the personnel to change the linen but certainly expect it to be provided and enable passengers to change linen for themselves but not to be expected to sleep in a bed which someone else just left.
I do not put any blame for this on your organization but would appreciate if you pass on our concern to those responsible.
